Self understanding of one’s deficiencies are essential for personal growth and improvement. In his book Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill talks about having the desire and thinking positively, to achieve all your dreams. When I was in elementary school, one of my teachers would ask” What is energy? Simply, Energy is the ability to do work. Work is the force times the distance required to complete the work. To sustain a good personal transformation requires been persistent by spending time to perfect your masterpiece that only you can create. You and I must continue to persevere and be determined to achieve all our goals. For example, In order for our house to stay immaculately clean or for our lawn to be beautiful , we must put in the work to keep the place clean and keep the weeds out. The Second Law of Thermodynamics Entropy states that an object will stay or increase in a state of disorder unless an energy is acted upon it.

We all must be persistent in every faucet of our lives. On the topic of Persistence, President Calvin Coolidge stated: ” Nothing in this world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and Determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan “Press On!” has solved and always will solve the problem of the human race”

In conclusion, one must remain persistent, determined, have the desire to achieve all of one’s goals and objectives. Proverb 13:19 reads : ” The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul.”
